I have spent the morning taking a look around some of our featured sportsbooks, with the aim of presenting you with one of the more unusual betting markets, and as luck would have it the first one I did check out, that being GT Bets came up trumps as soon as I started looking over their online betting platform.
They are offering punters odds currently on NFL team coaches, and those odds are based on the chances of each coach being the very first one to be fired this season.
Be aware though that if a coach retires or resigns then that will not count for betting purposes on this betting market, only the first coach to be fired will be deemed to be the winning one.
The one coach that does look like he may just be the very first one to be fired this season, based on his very low odds is Jay Gruden (WAS), for GT Bets are offering odds of 5/2 that he will be fired first this season.
Second and Third Favourites to be Fired First
The next coach in the betting is Pat Shurmur (NYG) and as far as his odds go, well he is a 7/1 shot, then you have Bill O Brien (HOU) who is a 10/1.
Also be aware that if you do fancy betting on this betting armlet you can also place a No Coach Fired bet and that bet currently has odds of 10/1 attached to it, and if you think any other coach other than those listed on this guide then you can be on the Field that being all other coaches via a single bet which return pay-out odds of 11/2.
Other Named Coaches
The least likely a coach is to be fired the bigger of course his odds on being so will be, and next in the betting at GT Bets you have the likes of Matt Patricia (DET), Doug Marrone (JAC) and Jason Garrett (DAL) who are 12/1 and a couple of 14/1 shots include both Dan Quinn (ATL) and Freddie Kitchens (CLE).
Mike Zimmer (MIN) is next in the betting at 16/1 with Ron Rivera (CAR) at 18/1, you may also be tempted to place a bet on Brian Flores (MIA) at odds of 20/1 if you do think he should go and with Adam Gase (NYJ) and Kliff Kingsbury (ARI) being on offer at even higher odds of 25/1 I think its fair to say their jobs are safe, for now.
I would also advise you to take a good look over the GT Bets betting site if you are interested in placing any type of futures bet on the NFL right now, for there are plenty of live betting markets up and available on that sites, and you are also going to be able to take advantage of their generous sign up welcome bonus offer too, if you haven’t yet signed dup and placed a bet with them, so do check them out.
